Why this exists
For fifteen years I carried a securities-backed line of credit at one bank. The adviser who managed the relationship wanted my portfolio moved into a managed account, with a fee attached, even though nothing in the portfolio would change. I said no. The relationship ended almost immediately.
What followed is the part nobody sees. I had a balance that now exceeded a line that no longer existed. I had to find a lender that would take the collateral, which meant pulling statements by hand and sending the same positions to different desks to learn what each would advance against them. I had to decide what to sell, knowing that selling the wrong thing would cost more in tax than it saved in cover. And I had to do the collateral math myself, position by position, advance rate by advance rate, while the market was falling and the numbers I computed on Monday were wrong by Thursday. I took the best number on the arithmetic. It took weeks. There was no tool for this. The bank had one. I had a spreadsheet and a deadline.

The Name
Dhruv (DROOV — rhymes with "groove") — Sanskrit for the North Star, Polaris. The word itself means fixed, immovable. The star is named for being so. The one point in the sky that never moves while everything else rotates around it. For thousands of years, navigators used Dhruv to find their position when everything around them was uncertain. That is what Dhruv Intelligence does for SBLOC principals. In a market where institutions control the information, where collateral is repriced without you and accruals are opaque and advisor incentives are misaligned — Dhruv is the fixed point. The reference that does not move.
Where this goes
Dhruv Intelligence verifies a securities-backed line from the principal's seat. Every statement recomputed, every charge checked, the distance to a call estimated between statements. That is what a principal buys today.
It is also how the record is built. Every facility verified adds to something that has not existed before: a document-level account of what these lines actually charge, how they actually reprice, and how quickly they recognize a drawdown. The Federal Reserve estimated this market from four indirect sources because there was no direct one. We are building the direct one, one facility at a time, and the method is public so anyone can check the work.
The record changes who holds the information. Today each lender sees its own book and nothing else.
