Careers
Careers at Dhruv Intelligence
We are building the intelligence layer for $138 billion in outstanding SBLOC loans, against an estimated $5 trillion in eligible collateral.
Dhruv Intelligence is an early-stage AI-native fintech selectively building its founding team. If you are exceptional at what you do and believe principal-side financial intelligence is a problem worth solving, we want to hear from you. Every role listed here is an opportunity to join before the category is defined.
About Dhruv Intelligence
Founded by a 2x entrepreneur with 30 years of experience and two successful exits, Dhruv Intelligence is not your typical startup — we are building the world's first AI-native intelligence platform for the securities-backed lending market — $138 billion in outstanding SBLOC loans, against an estimated $5 trillion in eligible collateral — a space that has never had a principal-side tool. Not one. KAIROS is the first rigorous single-subject case study of an SBLOC facility from the principal's seat — patent-pending methodology, observed from the inside. This is a rocket ship. We are pre-Series A, moving fast, and looking for people who want to come help solve a genuinely hard business and data science problem — not maintain someone else's legacy code or sit in pointless meetings. We are building a lean, high-performance team with a fun culture where smart people get real ownership, direct access to the founder, and real upside. We are planning to stay lean and go far.

Compensation Philosophy
Compensation at Dhruv Intelligence is built for people who want to be part of something before it's obvious. All roles carry competitive base salaries reflective of Series A wealthtech market rates, plus meaningful equity. We are pre-Series A. The people who join now will share in what this becomes.
Head of Growth & Partnerships
Own the revenue engine from day one.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 + equity
The Role
You will own growth end-to-end in a category that does not yet have a name. That means building relationships with RIAs, family offices, custodians, and wealth platforms — and helping them understand why principal-side intelligence is the missing layer in their stack. You do not need to arrive knowing SBLOC. You need to arrive knowing how institutional finance works, how to model complexity, and how to close.
What You Will Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of RIA, family office, and custodian relationships
- Drive early revenue through direct outreach and relationship-led sales
- Develop partnership frameworks with custodians (starting with Altruist, Fidelity, Schwab)
- Represent Dhruv Intelligence at industry events and through thought leadership
- Feed market intelligence directly to the founding team to shape product roadmap
- Own CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasting from day one
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years in fintech, wealth management, or financial services growth or BD roles
- Direct experience working with or selling to RIAs, family offices, or private bank clients
- Track record of closing relationships, not just generating leads
- Comfortable operating without a playbook — you will write the playbook
- Columbia, NYU Stern, Wharton, or equivalent background a plus but not required
Senior Backend Engineer
Build the infrastructure that powers a new asset class.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $175,000 – $220,000 + equity
The Role
You will be the first technical hire and a core builder of the KAIROS platform — our proprietary longitudinal data engine. You have shipped real fintech product. You understand data pipelines, custodian integrations, and what it means to build for institutional-grade reliability. You are bored at your current company and want equity in something that matters.
What You Will Do
- Architect and build the KAIROS data pipeline from ingestion through ensemble modeling
- Design and maintain integrations with custodian APIs (JPMorgan, Fidelity, Schwab, Altruist)
- Build secure, scalable infrastructure for longitudinal behavioral data storage and retrieval
- Own backend reliability, performance, and SOC 2 compliance readiness
- Collaborate directly with the founder on product architecture decisions
- Set engineering standards from the ground up — this is a greenfield build
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years backend engineering with fintech, wealthtech, or institutional data systems
- Deep experience with custodian or financial data APIs (Addepar, Plaid, Yodlee, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and modern data pipeline tooling
- Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or similar infrastructure at scale
- SOC 2 or compliance-adjacent engineering experience strongly preferred
- Ex-Addepar, ex-Plaid, ex-Yodlee, ex-Apex, or similar background ideal
Quantitative Research Analyst
Turn the world's most unique SBLOC dataset into publishable science.
- Type: Full-Time or Contract | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 + equity
The Role
You will work directly with the founding team to develop, test, and publish research findings from the KAIROS dataset. This role is co-authorship-first — if you want a footnote, this is not the job. We need someone who can run rigorous quantitative analysis and communicate it clearly to both academic and institutional audiences.
What You Will Do
- Design and execute hypothesis testing across 14 research domains in the KAIROS dataset
- Develop and refine the PFSS (Proprietary Forward Signal Score) algorithm
- Co-author the KAIROS working paper targeting peer-reviewed publication
- Build ensemble models and Monte Carlo simulations for longitudinal SBLOC behavior
- Translate findings into regulatory-ready language (SR 11-7, OCC, GLBA frameworks)
- Support patent claim expansion through quantitative evidence development
What We Are Looking For
- PhD candidate or recent PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scipy, statsmodels) and statistical modeling
- Experience with longitudinal data analysis and behavioral finance research
- Familiarity with securities-backed lending, margin mechanics, or SBLOC structures a significant plus
- Columbia, NYU, MIT, CMU, or University of Chicago background preferred
Director of Compliance & Risk
Build the compliance infrastructure that makes institutional trust possible.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 + equity
The Role
You will own our compliance and risk function from the ground up. This is a builder role, not an auditor role. You will design the policies, frameworks, and controls that allow Dhruv Intelligence to operate with and inside institutional clients — and eventually pass regulatory scrutiny as we scale.
What You Will Do
- Lead SOC 2 Type II readiness and certification
- Build and maintain model risk management framework aligned to SR 11-7 and OCC guidance
- Develop GLBA-compliant data governance policies for institutional data partnerships
- Serve as primary point of contact for institutional compliance due diligence
- Design internal controls for AI model validation and auditability
- Advise product and engineering on regulatory implications of new features
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs in financial services or fintech
- Direct experience with SOC 2 certification, model risk management, or SR 11-7 implementation
- Familiarity with GLBA, OCC guidelines, and AI governance frameworks
- JD, CPA, CAMS, or equivalent credential strongly preferred
- Experience working within or alongside private banks, RIAs, or custodians ideal
Data Partnerships Manager
Expand the dataset that no one else can replicate.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 + equity
The Role
You will negotiate and manage data sharing agreements with institutions including UBS, Morgan Stanley, RBC, Wells Fargo, and others. You understand financial data, consent frameworks, and how to structure relationships that work for both parties. You are part business development, part legal coordinator, part data strategist.
What You Will Do
- Source, negotiate, and manage data consent and sharing agreements with financial institutions
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional counterparties across the wealth management ecosystem
- Develop standardized data intake frameworks compliant with GLBA and institutional requirements
- Coordinate with legal counsel on data agreement structuring and review
- Track and report on dataset growth, quality, and coverage across the T2 institutional archive
- Identify new institutional data sources aligned to KAIROS research priorities
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years in data strategy, partnerships, or business development in financial services
- Experience structuring and negotiating data agreements with regulated institutions
- Familiarity with GLBA, data governance, and institutional consent frameworks
- Existing relationships within wealth management, private banking, or custodian ecosystem a strong plus
- Comfortable operating independently in a high-ambiguity early-stage environment
Head of Product
Define the product that principals have been waiting for.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $170,000 – $210,000 + equity
The Role
You will own product strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will work directly with the founder and engineering to translate institutional insight and research findings into a product that principals and their advisors actually use. You have shipped complex financial or data products before. You understand that in regulated markets, trust is the product.
What You Will Do
- Define and own the product roadmap for the KAIROS intelligence platform
- Translate research findings and institutional feedback into product requirements
- Lead discovery with early principal clients and RIA partners
- Drive execution across engineering, design, and data science
- Build the feedback loops that make KAIROS smarter with every client interaction

What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years product management in fintech, wealthtech, or institutional financial software
- Experience shipping data-heavy or AI-powered financial products
- Deep familiarity with the wealth management or private banking client experience
- Strong technical literacy — you can talk architecture with engineers and ROI with clients
- MBA or equivalent from a top program strongly preferred
Machine Learning Engineer
Build the models that predict what institutions miss.
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $185,000 – $225,000 + equity
The Role
You will design, build, and maintain the ensemble modeling and signal detection infrastructure at the core of KAIROS. You are deeply technical, research-literate, and comfortable with financial data. You want to work on problems that matter, not retrain foundation models for marketing copy.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain ensemble models for longitudinal SBLOC behavioral pattern detection
- Develop and refine Monte Carlo simulation infrastructure for risk scenario modeling
- Implement and iterate on the PFSS (Proprietary Forward Signal Score) algorithm
- Design model validation and drift detection pipelines for production reliability

- Salary: $110,000 – $135,000 + equity
The Role
You will own data quality, processing, and analytical output across the KAIROS dataset. You are detail-oriented, numerically precise, and curious about why financial systems behave the way they do. You will support research, product, and client deliverables with clean, accurate, well-documented analysis.
What You Will Do
- Process, clean, and validate incoming financial data across multiple institutional sources
- Build and maintain analytical reports for research and client deliverables

- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas) and SQL
- Familiarity with securities-backed lending, brokerage data, or custodian reporting formats
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline
- CFA Level I or progress toward CFA charter a plus

- Locations: New York, NY · San Jose, CA · Miami Beach, FL · Salt Lake City, UT · Remote
- Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 + equity
The Role
You are the founder's operational counterpart. You will own project management, vendor coordination, investor communications support, legal workflow management, and anything else that needs to get done. You have worked in high-intensity environments before and thrive when no two days look the same.
What You Will Do
- Own operational cadence across research, product, legal, and investor relations workstreams
- Manage relationships with external counsel, vendors, and advisors
- Prepare investor materials, board communications, and strategic briefings
- Track and manage open legal, compliance, and business development items

The Role
You will target, develop, and close relationships with private banks, independent RIAs, and family offices. - Develop and deliver tailored presentations and ROI analyses for institutional audiences
